We know that finding great investments can be difficult, particularly if you don't have direct access to executives or company founders. By using our platform, we hope to make the process more transparent for investors, and more accessible for high-potential startups working on the cleantech solutions of tomorrow.


Here are some of the most common questions that new investors ask us.

  • Hatchery Invest is an online community of investors given exclusive access to the different startups currently incubating with The Hatchery. The platform gives you early-bird access to the most promising projects that are looking for investors.

  • We currently offer shares of high potential early-stage startups with a strong focus on sustainability as a service. Our goal is to allow an increasing number of opportunities and investors, following the startups all the way to exit.
    The minimum ticket in 2022 is 50K€ but our aim is to make it accessible for smaller investors too, further down the line.

  • Simply put, Hatchery Invest is a deal-flow platform for green projects. It does away with all the complexities and inefficiencies of the currently fragmented market. Then we can spend more time helping our eggs grow - and you, the investor can easily keep track of multiple eggs - and rest assured that everything is on par with things like FATCA, KYC, AML, reporting and governance.

  • If the company fails, so does your investment. As with any investment, there are risks involved, so returns are never guaranteed. Generally speaking, early-stage start-ups don't go on to become billion-dollar companies overnight - if they do at all. The startups that have been accepted into The Hatchery have gone through a rigorous vetting process. They are hand-picked by seasoned investors in the Hatchery Board, Management and Advisors, and through the program they receive mentorship, resources, and office space to get their business off the ground and increase their chances of market success on a global scale.


  • Sign up as an investor candidate using the above form. We'll get back to you within a working day or two, to schedule a meeting with our agents. If you're eligible to join the Investor team, you'll be onboarded through the Hatchery Invest platform. Once you've chosen a startup that you'd like to invest in, select the amount that you would like to commit, click "Invest Now". You can monitor the fund-raising on a progress bar. We'll guide you through the rest of the process.
